Ina Blue, LCSW
Lead Clinical Therapist & Certified EMDR Specialist
I believe healing is a collaborative journey. As a licensed clinical social worker, faith based healer, and certified EMDR specialist, I provide trauma-informed therapy that honors your unique history. My practice is dedicated to helping you navigate past or present, anxiety, grief, and stress through a lens of somatic healing and empathetic connection. Together, we will work towards a life of clarity and serenity.
Introduction
I'm here to be present with you, listen fully, and offer something useful in every session. If we're working on past trauma, you'll still leave with a plan for present concerns. If something urgent arises, we can pause to address it. I offer more than therapy—I provide resources and life skills to support your journey.
My approach
Being with me is like being with a close friend who won't judge your worst thoughts or emotions. I give honest, compassionate feedback and real-time solutions when helpful. I use varied modalities because therapy isn't one-size-fits-all—I meet you where you are. I listen to your body for guidance and treat you as a whole person.
My client focus
I work with clients tired of struggling with emotions and reactions that cause strife. You're willing to work hard, speak up when something I say stirs feelings, and take this journey with me as navigator, not leader. If you're dealing with anxiety, panic attacks, stress, grief, trauma, or relationship concerns, I'm here for you.
My communication style
I use reflective listening to ensure I understand you. I'm attentive to body language, tone, and word choice, not just what's spoken. I listen fully before responding and insist on your feedback about my responses. I'm engaged from beginning to end and help you explore your own words to find answers within yourself.
How I help clients reach goals
We create goals together based on your needs and wants. I offer feedback on key priorities, but decisions are yours. I don't follow a cookie-cutter method—I listen to where you are each session. Sometimes we tackle easier goals first for success, then move to harder ones. Sessions often focus on learning coping skills useful for multiple goals.
My journey to becoming a provider
I put myself into foster care as a teenager and met therapists, case managers, and others who inspired me. I wanted to use my experiences to help others and improve a broken system. I chose social work so I could help in multiple ways. Keeping a small caseload lets me truly know my clients and focus on great care.
My first session with clients
The first session feels like meeting a new friend—relaxed and welcoming. We handle paperwork immediately, then move to personal questions so I can know you better. You can ask me questions too, within professional boundaries. I set the foundation of leaving each session with something useful, like teaching a new skill or offering ideas.
Breaking Free from Constraints
I am dedicated to providing accessible, trauma-informed telehealth therapy that fosters profound healing and emotional resilience. My mission is to empower you to navigate life's challenges with clarity and serenity, wherever you are.
